''We ALL Have ONE of THESE!''

''We ALL Have ONE of THESE''

---The point is that we ALL have something we would rather not have. We are all saddled with something that we are dealing with. I have heard it being called ‘’one’s cross to bear,’’ among other things.
---Whatever we call it, there is a time that we go through being very sure that without this ‘’THING’’ we would do a whole lot better. I know that I went through this with my hand. I was really convinced that without my hand I’d be ‘’something else.’’ Take that any way you want.
---I would like to point out the fantasy in this. The fantasy is this - I thought that I would be better NOT having this defect, when ALL THE TIME it contained all I would ever need to live and live affectively. The very thing I was trying to avoid…contained the very things I was looking for. That is, usually, the case.
---And, just to bring it to a reality - the learning is in how to deal with being born like this and living with my hand as it is. Society is saying that life is another way then you obviously are. We all have something that falls into this category and ‘’we would rather not have - that is, UNTIL WE LEARN TO HAVE IT.’’
---We learn to incorporate ourselves into the land of the living, but are now very equipped to do battle on many fields that others can still find tentative. I, guess, that it is my way of saying ‘’whatever doesn’t kill you, serves to make you stronger.’’
