---It is okay to take risks and feel uncomfortable, at times. You have, probably, spent many years running and hiding from experiencing any kind of discomfort. The more one accepts discomfort, it helps to build a thicker skin and de-sensitize one to the realities of life. One becomes more able to experience life as it is and doesn't need everyone to walk on eggshells around him to preserve some kind of pretend lifestyle. One becomes stronger as he goes along and his threshhold for discomforts rises to include the ability to withstand greater realities of living. One is able to face life as it is, with greater ease.
